I've seen a handful of people accept the Boo-arc base Saiyans being weaker than Freeza, thanks to Battle of Gods supporting the idea. The base Saiyans being weaker or stronger than Freeza doesn't matter to me so much. It's Piccolo (post-merger w/ Kami) who surpasses all of the SSjins at that point, who is stated to be on a "Whole other level" once he goes into the RoSaT being put under the base Saiyans in the Boo arc. I understand Bobbidi telling Dabura to disregard everyone but Kaoishin and the 3 Saiyans. I just don't see how Goku, Vegeta and Gohan could increase their power in their base states that much. Oh well, Piccolo's power and the base Saiyans aren't really relevant in the end; none of them could have touched Boo in those forms.

Some pushed him a bit to 600-700 million range but that was it. Nowadays I've seen people put him around the SSJ's. Of course I don't mind either, it would also make Piccolo (allegedly) being weaker than Kaioshin not that big of a deal seeing as how Kaioshin himself would be pretty formidable.

I won't get into it, but I don't put him anywhere near SSjs at this point in time. The reason why people want to figure out base Saiyans is so that we can place where their SSj forms would be. This is (of course) if you follow the multiplier theory, which I don't.
